Founder · Guardian Nest
“Protecting families is personal. It always has been.”
The founder’s story
Why Guardian Nest exists.
A father’s promise. A family’s mission.
Guardian Nest began with a promise born from profound personal loss.
After the loss of my daughter, Alexis, I made a promise: to help protect other families from preventable tragedies. I knew that no parent should have to look back and wonder whether greater knowledge, preparation, or the right safety resources might have changed an outcome.
That promise became Guardian Nest.
My personal loss will always be part of why Guardian Nest exists. But Guardian Nest is not a story about loss.
It is a story about what we choose to do because of it.
The vision
My vision is for Guardian Nest to become the Nation’s Most Trusted Family Safety Organization, a place parents and caregivers can turn to with confidence when they need help protecting the people who matter most.
The founder
Thomas Spencer is Guardian Nest’s founder, a trained home-safety assessor, certified First Aid / CPR instructor, father, and grandfather whose promise to Alexis became the mission behind Guardian Nest. The full background lives on our About page.
Safety follows your life, not a shelf
Safety changes as families change.
Guardian Nest grows with your family — from preparing for a baby to welcoming grandchildren, moving into a new home, caring for aging loved ones and preparing for emergencies.
Protect What Matters Most™
You can’t prevent every emergency.
But you can prepare your family for one.
Start wherever you’re comfortable.
