It is our judgment as a family-safety organization — not independent laboratory testing, government certification, regulatory approval, or an independent safety certification. Where a product also meets a recognized third-party standard, we say so plainly and link to it.

A Guardian Nest assessment reflects the home as we found it on the day of the visit and the information you shared. Safety is an ongoing practice, not a single inspection: conditions change, children grow, and new risks emerge. No assessment guarantees that an accident cannot happen.
