Modern Encryption
Protected while moving and while stored. Guardian Nest uses encrypted connections to protect information transmitted between members and Guardian Nest. Appropriate sensitive member information is also protected using modern encryption within Guardian Nest’s production data-storage environment.
Restricted Access
Your information isn't available to everyone. Access to protected Guardian Nest information is restricted according to authentication, authorization and legitimate business need. My Nest household information must remain isolated from other households, and administrative access must be limited according to staff responsibilities.
Privacy by Design
We collect information with a purpose. Guardian Nest is designed to minimize unnecessary collection of personal information. Private household information should remain within protected Guardian Nest systems and should not be exposed publicly or unnecessarily shared with third parties.

Guardian Nest uses HTTPS and modern TLS encryption to protect information traveling between your device and Guardian Nest.
Protected Information
Sensitive member information is protected using appropriate encryption and access controls within Guardian Nest systems.
Secure My Nest Access
My Guardian Nest™ requires authentication, and server-side access controls are used to keep household information separated.
Restricted Administrative Access
Guardian Nest personnel and authorized service providers receive access only when required for legitimate responsibilities.
Protected Payments
Guardian Nest uses an approved payment processor for payment-card processing so sensitive card credentials do not need to be stored within your My Nest family profile.
Privacy-First Technology
Guardian Nest seeks to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide its family safety services.

Payment-card processing is handled through Guardian Nest's approved payment processor. Guardian Nest does not store card security codes within My Nest.

Guardian Nest minimizes the personal information it collects and does not request sensitive information merely because it can.
Responsible AI
Nest Assistant is designed to use family information only as necessary to provide Guardian Nest functionality, subject to Guardian Nest's privacy controls and policies.
