A calm, do-it-together starting point.
Find the top-risk pieces
Anything over about 30 inches tall that can tip — dressers, bookshelves, cabinets, TVs, and appliances. If a child can climb it, a child can pull it.
Choose the right anchor
Wall-anchor kits with anti-tip straps for furniture, and proper TV mounts or straps for televisions. Bracket-style anchors work on most studs.
Anchor to studs, not drywall
The strap is only as strong as what it’s bolted into. Find the stud, use the included hardware, and test the strap with a firm pull.
Make it a habit
Re-check anchors whenever you move furniture, add a new piece, or a child grows into a new climbing stage.
